Considerations for adding language variation

The following is a non-exhaustive list of things that variation should (or should not) impact.

Business rules

Business rules cannot be violated. The example below is unworkable because it tries to split month-plan and month-comp.

Referring expressions

A referring expression is any noun phrase, or surrogate for a noun phrase, with the function in discourse of identifying some individual object. In the example below, Region 1 is referred to as the region.

You may need to change referring expressions for the sake of readability.

Functional items

For the sake of readability, you may need to change some functional items (words, endings, capitalization, punctuation, and so on).
