Is the variation working?
When testing variation, you can generate lots of text and figure out through trial and error which variations are in the text. But generally you’ll know in advance (or should find out) which variations are intended and where.
Primarily you are testing that the variants are being used where expected and that the text varies as intended. This is the type of variation where the tests need to accept multiple results, and you need to re-run test scenarios with the same inputs to show that they’re working.
